We are partnering with an established, growing engineering consulting firm in the Indianapolis area seeking an experienced Electrical Discipline Lead to guide its electrical engineering team.

The Role

Your primary focus will be leading the electrical engineering team, overseeing project execution, and ensuring technical excellence. You'll remain involved in engineering projects while spending much of your time mentoring, managing, providing direction, and developing client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineers and designers.
• Oversee staffing, workloads, project delivery, and technical quality.
• Provide technical guidance on power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
• Partner with firm leadership on team development, operational improvements, and continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience within building design or consulting engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of building electrical systems.
• Leadership, mentoring, or team management experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
